Austere lines, right angles and triangulations, cavities and niches form among others the
vocabulary appropriate to express the philosophy of this series.
The recurring geometric patterns of the jewelry of Plethora succeed each other linearly based on three main versions: a compact circle, a void circle and one filled.
A circle, thought of as a pure and perfect shape in the Ancient Greek culture, appears to be the ideal design unit for the Harmony jewel series.
This series is given the name Allegory, the rhetorical invention of the “agoreusis” (speaking) of “allos”
(other), as a literary device that applies characteristics of language on jewel design. Allegory as an extended and complex metaphor is
found in the form and fundamental elements of this series’ jewels, which refer to the models of thought in an abstract way.
