In this creation, Eleni Orfanou draws inspiration from the world of remembrance. Memories define our sense of self and chronological continuation of our existence, as they reference the past, shape the present and prepare for the future. In the La Mémoire jewel semiprecious stones symbolize moments and experiences that we wish to keep carefully guarded within a golden shell, allowing them to move freely and form their unique footprints in our lives, represented by circles of enamel in their colors.
